The NBA’s Pregames Live event was the most streamed NBA live game since the 2015-16 season.
That was when NBA games streamed on NBATV averaged more than 20 million viewers, according to ESPN.
The event averaged over 14 million viewers during the 2016-17 season, which was the first time in NBA history that averaged more fans than the previous year.
The most watched NBA games of all time in the live-streamed Pregamas live events are the 2017 NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Cavaliers, however, had the most live-viewed games on any sports network during that span, averaging over 16 million viewers in live-broadcast on NBA TV.
That season, the Golden States were up against the Cleveland Cavaliers for the No. 1 seed in the NBA Finals.
On Thursday, the Warriors defeated the Cavaliers 117-111 to advance to the 2017-18 NBA Finals in six games.
This year, the Cavaliers and Warriors will meet in Game 7 on Sunday, June 16.
NBA fans are excited to see what the 2017 Finals will bring.
With LeBron James leading the Cavaliers to the NBA title, fans are hoping to see the Cavaliers make history by reaching the Finals for the first of three consecutive seasons.
